Al began his career with London Life Insurance Company in 1996, and is currently the President of A. Jones Wealth & Estate Planning Inc. Al had the honour of serving two terms as President of the Simcoe-Muskoka Chapter of Advocis, and was a Director on the TFAAC Board for 2 years. For a two year term, Al served as Chair of the Advocis Chapter Board, continuing his 5 year service as a Chapter Board member. Al is currently serving his first year as Treasurer and second year as Trustee for the Institute for Advanced Financial Education; a member of the Century Initiative, and the Advocis Ontario Political Action Committee.
Al continues to be actively involved in the community and has volunteered for two terms as President of the Innisfil Chamber of Commerce. He has currently been elected as the Chairman of the Board of the People’s Credit Union, and has recently received the Accredited Credit Union Director’s Designation from Dalhousie University. Al is the Convenor for the Simcoe Scotch Nosing Society; served as a Scout leader for ten years with 1st Painswick Scouting, and enjoys coaching house league hockey.
Al and his wife sue live in the beautiful city of Barrie ON, raising their sons Adam and Connor and enjoying their dog, Gracie.
Brian joined Freedom 55 Financial in 2009. He’s lived in the Barrie area for more than 47 years, and has been married to his wife Linda for 17 years, They have two daughters Kari and Marie. Brian loves to camp and travel as a family. He also enjoys being involved with sports and community events.
Cindy Wiggan is a Marketing Associate with Freedom 55 Financial and began working with A. Jones Wealth & Estate Planning Inc. in September of 2006 and has enjoyed every minute since! Coming from a background in the Medical Services Industry and Foster Care, assisting others tends to be her passion. A busy Mom to a blended family of four, Cindy is the Executive Director of the Newfoundland & Labrador Rose of Tralee Centre; a member of the Board of Directors for the Innisifl Chamber of Commerce, and loves to canoe, camp & travel with her partner in life, John. She’s known to sing half-decently, sometimes in the tub, and out!
Dawn Wells became part of the Freedom 55 Financial family in 2008. For 11 years she was part of Great-West Life in Toronto as a senior administrator. Choosing to be a stay-at-home Mom to her four beautiful children, she said good-bye to Great-West Life and headed up to in Barrie where her family now resides. For the past few years, she has chosen to work evenings as a bartender and server at the Georgian Downs Racetrack. She enjoys socializing with friends and gardening.
Shawn Gillespie has lived in Creemore, home of Creemore Springs Brewery, since 1989. Married to his wife Natalia for three years, they have a daughter Victoria who is 19 months old and are expecting their second bundle of joy in early March 2011.
Shawn joined Freedom 55 Financial in 2007, after working for a bank for four years. He leads an active lifestyle, chasing after his daughter, and playing hockey, golf and tennis. He is passionate about hockey and Toronto Maple Leafs (although success has been limited recently hopefully this is the year they win the Stanley Cup).
